The British ship approached the remote medical outpost, having dropped out of the tachyon current five minutes before.

“We are approaching the outpost, Captain,” the helmsman reported.

“Acknowledged, prepare for docking procedures,” the Captain said.

“Aye captain.”


Another five minutes passed and the Edlington docked to the fairly large medical station. Three other ships were docked at various places around the structure. “Contact the quartermaster,” the Captain ordered the communications officer.

1 Ringtailed Lemurs

There was a light shower when Topher arrived at the Ringtailed Lemur exhibit. The lemurs were nowhere to be seen. “Well, not much I can do,” he said. He took a couple of photos of the exhibit anyway.


'How long to wait?' he wondered after a few more minutes. He was in his lunch break.

Danica Sirius saw the time vehicle arrive. She ran up to it as the occupant stepped out. “Daniel,” she said.

“Hello to you to,” Daniel said as he closed the time vehicle door. He looked around the docking bay. “Is there a problem with the power? I have been further along then now, the station should be fine.”

That was only slightly reassurring, her databases and those of the station had records of hundreds of incidences where the actions of time travellers had changed the course of events. “You know that the timeline has been changed before,” she said.

“I know,” Daniel said, with a contrite look. Danica knew that he had caused some of those divergences.

“Yes, there is a problem on the station, draining the power. The cloak is close to failing,” she said. The cloaking device hid the station from the world below, which was still recovering from the Collapse in the 24th Century.

“That doesn't sound good,” Daniel said. “Let's get to the Situation Room.”


Daniel Stanton knew the outline of history after the Collapse. Earth in this period was mostly Iron Age, with small industrial societies here and there. If the cloaking device failed, there would only be two that could take advantage of that fact immediately. Two too many. “We need to find the source of the drain,” he said as he and Danica entered the Situation Room.

Danica made a gesture and a holographic schematic of the Station appeared above the table in the middle of the room. “As you can see, nearly every power source is running.” Danica said.

Daniel could see that the fusion reactors were all running at full tilt, and that the antimatter reactor was on full standby. All the auxillary fuel cells were running over capacity. It was a strain on the Station's aging infrastructure. “How long has this been going on?”

“Just today,” Danica answered.

Star Trek – Voyager - The Seed

“Confirmed, there is an M-Class planet in the system ahead,” Harry Kim reported.

“That's good news,” Captain Janeway said. “Mr. Paris, lay in a new course.”

“Aye, Captain,” Tom Paris responded. Voyager changed course.


Ten minutes later, Voyager dropped out of warp, and entered standard orbit of the M-Class planet. Shortly afterwards, an away mission was prepared.

Jennifer Parker knocked on the door. “Marty?” she called out.

The door opened. It was her boyfriend's mother, Lorraine. “Marty, Jennifer is here,” she called out. “He'll be here in a minute.”

“Cool,” Jennifer said.


A minute later, Marty arrived. “Hi, Jen,” he said. They kissed.

“So, what's up?” Jennifer asked.


In Marty's room, he opened a large package. “I have been going through the Doc's stuff he had sent me after we saw him and his family.”

“Is it a lot?” Jennifer asked.

“There is quite a lot,” Marty answered. “But what is interesting, is that there may be another DeLorean somewhere.”

“Really?” Jennifer asked.

“Yes. Somewhere, here in Hill Valley, but he doesn't specify where.”

“Oh.”

The Doctor and Christina

“Little Blue Box, just as you said,” Christina said. The Doctor knew what she was going to ask next. “Right then. Off we go. Come on then, Doctor. Show me the stars.”

“No,” the Doctor said. He didn't want another person travelling with him, who he would get close to and then loose. Never again.

“What?” Christina asked.

“I said no,” he was beginning to imagine their travels. The constant questions about various things. The dangers, the near misses, and eventually him losing her to a Dalek that somehow survived the destruction of the Crucible, or some other foe.

“But I saved your life. And you saved mine.”

The Doctor knew where she was going with that reasoning. “So?”

“We're surrounded by police. I'll go to prison.”

“Yeah.” He was beginning to reconsider. Maybe just one trip. But unlike with Martha, he would put his foot down afterwards.

Daniel Stanton knocked on his sister, Tia's, door, which was down the hall from his. Tia answered it. “Daniel, I'm tired,” she said.

Daniel could see that she had prepared for bed, wearing her favourite pijamas and had also taken her short hair out of the clips. It was all over the place. “We've gone out tired before,” he said.

“But not to a new place,” Tia said.

The service was about to begin. Mindy went up on stage and grabbed her viola. The practice for the service had gone well. She could also see that the auditorium was much more crowded than it had been the previous week.
