That last one had sounded like a snake oil salesman. Suddenly, there was a flicker of light, and a sound like a 'Pop!' The mechanism 'faded in' in front of him. The door opened.

The Secret Service agent again lead Trump to the subbasement room where the Temporal Vehicle was kept. It seemed that most of the meetings were still antagonistic. Even with Monroe and the younger Adams. He wasn't sure why. He was still sure that it wasn't him that was at fault.

“Good Evening, Mr. President.”

The Doctor and Bracewell
“I've been expecting you, Doctor. I knew that this moment had to come,” Bracewell said,

“Moment?” the Doctor asked.

“It's time to deactivate me.”

“Is it?”

“You have no choice, I'm Dalek technology. You can't have me pottering down here where I don't belong.”

“No, you're dead right Professor,” the Doctor said. “The way I see it, there are three options.”

“Three?” Amy asked.

“Yes, three,” the Doctor answered. He turned back to Bracewell. “Three options. Deactivation. Or you could stay here, but on no account are you to look for that girl.”

“Dorabella,” Bracewell said.

“Dorabella,” the Doctor said.

“And the third option?” Bracewell asked.

“All of time and space, aboard my TARDIS.”

“Well, it's always a big day tomorrow. I've got a time machine. I skip all the little ones.”

Amy thought for a moment. “You know what I said about getting back tomorrow morning? Have you ever run away from something...”

'Maybe the electors will have more sense,' he thought. Suddenly, there was a flicker of light, and a sound like a 'Pop!' The mechanism 'faded in' in front of him. The door opened.

A white man stepped out. “President James Madison?” he asked.

“Yes. I asssume you know that already.” There something about the future president's tone that he didn't like.

He put out his hand. “President Donald Trump.”

Trump? At least it sounded better than the name of his immediate predecessor.

A white man stepped out. “President John Adams?” he asked.

“That's me, but I assume you already knew that.” There was something about the man's tone he didn't like.
