The Doctor and the Borg
USS Voyager NCC 74656
The Doctor looked at the viewscreen. At the large cubic monstrosity of a ship. He had run into them before, while he was travelling with Amy and Rory. “Run,” he said to the Captain.
“We've battled the Borg before, Doctor,” Captain Janeway countered. “They're dangerous, but we can handle ourselves.
'Of course,' the Doctor thought as he remembered Felicia telling him about Seven of Nine. “But now, something's different.. They have detected something aboard Voyager they want.”
“They want the TARDIS?” Ensign Harry Kim asked.
“And me,” the Doctor added.
In Astrometrics, Seven of Nine looked at the data on the incoming Cube. 'They have detected Species 1963, Gallifreyian Time Lord, why are they holding back?' she wondered.

“That's impossible,” Seven noted after looking through the Asgardian data again.
“It's not impossible,” the Doctor said.
“What is it?” Janeway asked.
“Interdimensional disturbances, Captain.” Seven answered.
“A device that caused a multiversial merge when activated,” the Doctor explained. “Only it does so gradually.”
“Only, it seems this one is much further advanced than the one I dealt with,” Thor added.

Something wasn't right. “Computer, re-run latest analysis,” Seven commanded.
“Affirmative.”

Lawndale
It was quiet outside Lawndale High School, as it had been over the Summer Holidays. Claire Defoe smiled as she got out of her car. She wasn't sure why she had taken a job at this school. All of her practicals had been in suburb of Philadelphia or Pittsburgh. Still, she she was graceful for her offer, given that there had hardly been others.
