Mary Jane – Spider-Girl
It was an ordinary day at Midtown High School. MJ Watson was there early. Everyone knew her as ‘MJ’. Only her parents and teachers called her Mary Jane. The fight she had with her parents the previous night was on her mind as she arrived at the school. “Where are you all the time, Mary Jane?” she groused, imitating her father’s tone. She shook her head, clearing her mind of the confrontation. She wanted to focus on the day of school ahead. Especially the Oscorp field trip.

She entered the school building hoping that the day would be a good one. It wasn’t long before something happened. She found Felicia Hardy near her locker.
Scooby Doo – Small Town Mystery
Velma Dinkley came down to breakfast to see that Shaggy and Scooby were already whipping together one of their concoctions. They had clearly recovered from their most recent adventure. “Hey guys,” she said.

“Hey, Velms,” Shaggy said. “Would you like some of this breakfast?”

Velma came over and looked at the breakfast. “Um, just some of the bacon and eggs,” she answered.

“Sure,” Shaggy said.

While Velma was still eating her bacon and eggs when she saw Daphne enter the kitchen. “Something smells good,” she said.

“Almost done,” Shaggy said. “What would you like?”

“Bacon and eggs with pancakes,” Daphne answered.

“Sure,” Shaggy said. “Would you like maple syrup with the pancakes?”

“Yes!” Daphne said, practically jumping.

Daphne joined Velma at the table. “What are your plans for today?” she asked.

“First, I’m going to see if any tip came in overnight.”

“Of course.”

“But then I’m going to finish the repairs to the van. It seems that the electronics got a little scrambled on our last trip, along with the other damage.”

“Sometimes, I wonder if we get in over our heads,” Daphne said, with a reflective look on her face.

“Sometimes?” Velma asked with an eyebrow raised.

Daphne thought for a moment. “OK, a lot of the time.”
Stacy and the Brain Phase
“Eggshell, I said Egg plant!” Quinn said.

“You’re kidding!” Stacy said.

They both laughed.

“Quinn?” It was Mr. O’Neill, who had come up to them unseen. “Was there something you wanted to say?”

“Um, I didn’t get my essay back,” Quinn said.

“That’s true, Quinn,” O’Neill said with a disappointed tone. “I’m afraid I need to see you after class.”

The bell rang, and Quinn looked at Stacy. ‘Wait up,’ she seemed to say.

Stacy got up to go. “I’ll save you a place at the mirror,” she said.

Little did Stacy know that there was a crisis coming up. She was worried when Quinn didn’t show up at the mirror, but she figured that O’Neill was talking her ear off with one of his (sometimes) relatable sop stories.

A week later... )
Daria – Beach Party Invitation
Daria Morgendorffer approached the counter with trepidation. She didn’t know what the cafeteria staff were serving up today. “Uh! I hate it when the trays are wet,” Brittany Taylor said beside her.

“‘That which does not kill us makes us stronger,’" she said quoting Nietzsche.

“Is that from a song?” Brittany asked. “Hey, thanks for helping me out in Art.”

“No problem.”

“Maybe I could help you out in something.”

“Well, you could show me how to twirl hair around my little finger and look vacant,” Daria snarked.

Brittany did just that. “I don’t think that’s something you can teach. I know! You can come to my backyard beach party Saturday afternoon.”

“Backyard beach party?” Daria asked.

“Yes,” Brittany responded. “We had a pool with a wave machine put in. There is also a lot of sand around it, so it’s kind of like a beach!”

‘I see,” Daria said. ‘Of course, the Taylors would want of show off how wealthy they are!’

“But just this once of course.”

“Gee, Brittany. I'm overcome with emotion.”

“You need a napkin? Anyway, I promised the other cheerleaders that I wouldn't invite any more really attractive girls.”

“Now I'm especially flattered.”

Daria was still thinking about the invitation as she arrived at her friend Jane Lane’s house that afternoon. When she entered Jane’s room, she saw her friend looking through a sketchbook.

Life drawings? She didn’t know Jane did life drawings! She said so.

“I did them last summer. Want a look?”

“Sure.”
“Good Morning, Agent M,” Monogram said. “Lawn gnomes across the Tri-State Area are disappearing, leaving thousands of gardens unprotected against black magic. We suspect Doofenshmirtz. Get right on it.”

‘Are you sure it’s Doofenshmirtz, not someone else?’ Candace thought as the screen changed.

‘Doofenshmirtz not present in his building.’

“Then where is he?”

Stacy Hirano and Jenny Brown arrived at the Flynn Fletchers. They saw Phineas and Ferb put the finishing touches on the beach they were constructing. “Hey, Where’s Candace?” Stacy asked as she came up to Phineas.

“I’m not sure. She was inside earlier,” Phineas said.

“I know she was,” Stacy said, thinking on what she had been saying about Suzy and Katie. She knew that Candace didn’t really spend time with either of them. “But I wanted to tell her that we passed Jeremy and his buddies with their surf boards.”

“Cool,” Phineas said.

Stacy glanced at the water, where she could see her overachiever sister with the other Fireside Girls in her troop. She suppressed a sigh and turned to Jenny. “Let’s see if Candace is in her room before we go to the water.”

“Sure,” Jenny said.

Candace had disguised herself as a lawn gnome before waiting at the side of the house. Phineas and Ferb had outdone themselves again. The beach was totally bustable! She had seen Stacy and Jenny talking to Phineas but hadn’t heard what Stacy was saying. She sighed. Then suddenly she was falling. Doofenshmirtz had fallen for her plan.

Jenny knocked on Candace’s door. No response. She looked to Stacy, who shrugged, so she opened the door. “She’s not here,” she said.

“I’ll call her,” Stacy said.
Returning for Summer
Daria Morgendorffer had arrived back in Lawndale for the summer. The first year of college had been a year of growth, not only in her knowledge and skills. But she was ready for a break (and helping Quinn prepare for College herself.) She noticed several minor changes that had occurred since she was back for Spring Break. But such things were to be expected.

“Daria! You’re back!” Quinn Morgendorffer called as she came out of the house.

“Of course,” Daria said. She was unprepared for her sister to hug her. “Quinn?” she asked as she returned the hug.

“Sorry. I’ve missed you.”

A Night in Metro City
It was a quiet night in Metro City, Illinois. Of course, this was relative. Metro City being a large city, this was louder than it would have been in a rural village in Iowa. Especially near the center of the city where the repairs to Metro Tower were continuing, night and day. Suddenly, there was an explosion and debris rained on the streets below.

Elsewhere in the city, there was an alert. Megamind, Metro City’s resident super hero (formerly villain) was about to go to bed. But he fought off the fatigue as he rushed to the main room of his lair. Minion was already there. “Sir; there’s been an explosion at Metro Tower.”

“What information do we have?”
Star Trek – The Next Generation – After Minos
Lieutenant Geordi La Forge looked at the Saucer Section on the viewscreen. He was ready for the mission to be over. He glanced at the two young officers in front of him. “Ready?” he asked them.

Both nodded.

“Initiate reconnection sequence,” he ordered.

“Aye, Lieutenant,” Ensign T’Su said.
A New Generation – Strange New World
It was a normal day aboard the Enterprise. It certainly was in Ten Forward, where Cadet Robin Leftler was reading a book about Termite species across the Federation, while eating soup. “How can you eat that stuff?” her fellow cadet, Ethan Collier, asked.

“It’s healthier than what you’re eating,” Leftler snarked back, while glancing at Collier’s carbohydrate-loaded meal.

“At least it tastes good,” Collier returned.

“I guess it takes a discriminating palate to appreciate Vulcan cuisine.” She was about to say more, when she noticed that Enterprise had dropped out of warp and entered orbit around an M-class planet.

“I thought we were close to a nebula,” Collier stated.

“I wonder if anyone lives there,”

On the Bridge, Captain Jean-Luc Picard was wondering the same thing. “Data.”

“The atmosphere consists of 18% Oxygen, 80% Nitrogen and 2% other gases,” Lieutenant Commander Data reported.

“Close to Earth,” Lieutenant Geordi La Forge commented.

“Life signs?” the Captain asked.

“The planet has diverse ecologies in many different biomes, but there is no humanoid life, nor any indication of high technology,” Data reported.
The Doctor and the Borg
USS Voyager NCC 74656
The Doctor looked at the viewscreen. At the large cubic monstrosity of a ship. He had run into them before, while he was travelling with Amy and Rory. “Run,” he said to the Captain.

“We've battled the Borg before, Doctor,” Captain Janeway countered. “They're dangerous, but we can handle ourselves.

'Of course,' the Doctor thought as he remembered Felicia telling him about Seven of Nine. “But now, something's different.. They have detected something aboard Voyager they want.”

“They want the TARDIS?” Ensign Harry Kim asked.

“And me,” the Doctor added.

In Astrometrics, Seven of Nine looked at the data on the incoming Cube. 'They have detected Species 1963, Gallifreyian Time Lord, why are they holding back?' she wondered.
Phineas and Ferb – Candace – OWCA Agent
Rollercoaster
Candace Flynn didn’t believe her eyes. Her brothers were building a rollercoaster in the back yard. She didn’t believe it! “Phineas, what is this?”

“Do you like it?” Phineas asked.

Of course she didn’t like it. “Ooh, I'm gonna tell Mom, and when she sees what you're doing, you are going down!” She ran off.

However as she rode away her watch beeped. She looked at it. “Oh, not now! I can’t do both at the same time.” She hit a button on the watch and another button on the bike, and rode down a ramp which had opened on the sidewalk.

Soon, she was in the lair room below her house. The large screen turned on, showing Major Monogram, the head of her division of OWCA. “Good morning, Agent M.”

Candace glared at Monogram. Sure she had spent a night with a group of Marmosets overnight when she had run away when she was six, but that didn’t mean she was a Marmoset. She cleared her throat.

“You are Agent M,” Monogram said. They had gone through this many times before. “Doofenshmirtz is up to his old tricks. For reasons unknown to us, he bought up 80% of the country's tin foil. I want you to get over to his hideout right away. Find out what he's up to and put a stop to it.”

“On my way,” she said with a resigned tone. She knew she had to bust Doofenshmirtz before she busted her brothers. She found her hovercraft and departed.

Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated!
“Ah, Agent Flynn, what an unexpected surprise,” Heinz Doofenshmirtz said. “And by unexpected, I mean: COMPLETELY EXPECTED!”

He pressed a button and robot arms caught Candace. ‘At least he doesn’t call me ‘Candace the Marmoset!’ she thought, not for the first time.
Daria - Summer in Boston
Summer Lane arrived in Boston. She hadn’t been there before, and she wouldn’t have been there if her younger sister, Jane, hadn’t decided to go to college at Boston Fine Arts College. There were many other Arts schools in the country, including some that were both closer to Lawndale and to the place Summer had made home. “Now, which way to BFAC?” she wondered.
Doctor Who – Away From What is Known
Clara Oswald entered the Console Room. The Doctor was nowhere to be seen. “Where is he?” she asked.

The TARDIS just gave an enigmatic noise from the console.
Star Trek: Lower Decks
Holonovel Speed Run
It was a quiet day on the USS Cerritos. Ensign Beckett Mariner was bored. Especially since she had just got off duty from a long day of cataloguing tricorder scan results. There were other tasks an Ensign could do that weren’t so mind-numbing.

However, the day was over, and she was ready to relax. She entered a turbolift. “Holodeck 2!”
Star Trek: A New Generation – Strategies
The Calypso was being chased. With the Enterprise still dead in space, they had been sent out to get help. However, they now had a Romulan scout ship on their tail.

“Why the hell are they after us?” Commander William Riker asked for the second time in as many minutes.

“I have no idea, sir,” Worf answered.

Riker sent the Calypso into a barrel roll. But the Romulan weapons fire continued to hit the small vessel’s shields. ‘Down to 82%,’ he thought.

“They’re still behind us,” Troi said.

The Calypso took another hit. “Another one, straight ahead,”

“We’re in need of assistance. I’ll contact the Enterprise,” Troi said.

“No, they would still be dead in space,” Riker said. “And we’re now losing engine power!”
A New Generation – So it Begins
“Deanna Troi Personal Log; Stardate 41285.9. It’s all lies. But I’ll start at the beginning.”

Enterprise arrived at Starbase 395, located at the edge of Federation space, after a month of ‘leisurely’ travel from Deneb IV.

Lieutenant Deanna Troi returned to her quarters to find that there was a private message waiting for her. “No!” she said. For she recognized the ostentatious crest that had appeared at the start of the message. The combination of the symbols of the Betazed Ministry of Federation and Foreign Affairs, the Federation Diplomatic Service and the Fifth House of Betazed. There was only one person who used that symbol. Ambassador Lwaxana Troi, her mother. She breathed deeply and pressed ‘Accept.

“Little One!”

She paused the message. How many times had she told her she didn’t like that diminutive? She hadn’t like it since her powers had activated at puberty. She resumed the playback.

“I heard the Enterprise was stopping over at Starbase 395, so I had to go there. Besides I need to be there for negotiations next week, so I would have been there anyway. I digress. I have become aware of something that we need to discuss urgently. Something that can’t be discussed over subspace.”

She paused the message again. What was the thing that she needed to discuss urgently? Her heart beat faster. She didn’t know, did she? ‘Impossible,’ she thought. But then her mother did have her resources.

“I hope to see you soon. I will come to the Enterprise as soon as the ship docks.” The message ended.

Deanna looked out the window. Enterprise was very close to the Starbase. Docking would occur in minutes. She resolved to meet her mother at the airlock.

Lwaxana waited for the docking sequence to complete. Eventually, the airlock opened and she walked through to the Enterprise, to find her daughter waiting for her. ‘Little One! I didn’t expect to see you waiting for me.’

‘Hello, Mother. Your message sounded rather urgent and I want to know what you know!’

Deanna was rather direct, but then she had reason to. And she sensed a lot of worry coming off of her.

‘Not right here, Little One! There are other Betazoids at the Starbase.’

‘Of course, not right here,’ Deanna interrupted.

‘Then we’ll have to go somewhere aboard Enterprise. Preferably where no one else is.’

Five minutes later, Deanna and her mother entered a lounge on Deck 3
Biden and the Past Presidents
Washington
20 January 2021
Of all the secrets that Joe Biden thought that the President of the United States would be privy to, he didn't expect it to be this. He re-read the piece of paper he had been given. “Let me get this straight. There is at least one time machine, and it's used for the President to meet previous President's during their administrations?”

“Yes, Mr. President.”

“Sounds like it could be missused,” the President mused. He wondered why he hadn't heard about it in all his years in DC, especially while he was Vice President. (And what did his immediate predecessor do with it?)

“You can look at those files afterwards, Sir.”

“Oh, I will.”

“This way, sir.”

They left the Oval Office into one of the secret doors. There were stairs down to a lower level. The agent led him down.

The Time Vehicle was large. At least four meters tall. “Wow,” he said.

“It is impressive, sir. I give you that,” a technician said. “It's ready to go.”

“Good,” the President said.

The technician pressed a button on the side of the Time Vehicle and the door opened with a 'swoosh'.

The interior was much like the outside.
Doctor Who: Mystery in Polonia
Tegan Jovanka wandered through the TARDIS corridors. It had been a while since the ship had landed. While she had enjoyed the time she had spent with the Doctor (and occasionally Turlough) reading in the library, she wanted to get out and about. ‘I can see he has accumulated most of those books on his travels. They are not all from Gallifrey,’ she thought as she came to the Console Room. It was empty. The Doctor was elsewhere in the ship, but she could see the that they were still in flight.
“Where are we headed, then?”

There was no response from the console, not that she expected any.

“Where’s the Doctor?”

There was a beep as if to say ‘none of your business.’

“Have it your way,” she said. She decided to go and find him.

The Doctor was in the kitchen. He was a little annoyed at the TARDIS for just drifting in the vortex. Sure, he liked spending time with Tegan, but he wanted to get out there and make a difference. ‘Besides, the longer I spend in the vortex, the more likely the Time Lords would stick their noses in,’ he thought. “Are you going somewhere, old girl?” he asked. He got the sense that his ship was indeed going somewhere, but was taking her time about it. He sighed. ‘I better check the Console,’ he thought.

As he headed to the Console room, he saw Turlough watching the end of a British movie from the ‘60’s in one of the theatres.

As Tegan left the Console Room, she saw the Doctor come around one of the corners. “There you are!” she chided.

“You were looking for me?” he asked in mock surprise.

“I’m bored. The ship may be huge, but I’d like to be somewhere, even if it may be dangerous.”

“Be careful for what you wish for,” the Doctor said.

Tegan frowned.

“Brave heart, Tegan,” the Doctor said, as he took her hand in a comforting gesture.

She had to admit, holding his hand was calming. “Thanks.”

He led her back to the Console Room.

Turlough entered the Console Room to see that the TARDIS was still in flight, and the Doctor and Tegan standing very close to each other as they both scrutinized the readouts on the Console. That was one thing that was annoying. It made him feel like he was a ‘third wheel’ or something. He cleared his throat and the two stepped away from each other as they noticed them. He saw Tegan blushing as they did so.

“Turlough, how was the movie?” the Doctor asked.

“It was, interesting,” he answered. “We still haven’t landed anywhere, I see.”

“No, we haven’t,” Tegan said.

“The TARDIS is certainly taking it’s time isn’t it?”

“Yes…”

However, at that moment the rotor on the console stopped moving with the usual voorp! voorp! sound. The ship had landed.

Tegan stepped outside first. She saw that the ship had materialized in a mid-sized park in a city somewhere. She knew that it wasn’t on Earth as she could see two moons that were both half the apparent size of Earths’ moon, one nearer to the horizon than the other. ‘One must be larger and further away,’ she thought, remembering something the Doctor had told her about orbital mechanics at some point.

The Doctor and Turlough followed her out. “Polonia,” the Doctor said.

“You recognize it from the moons?” Tegan asked.

“Not only that, but some of the vegetation in this park,” the Doctor answered.

She looked around.
Phineas and Ferb – A Day in Danville
It was an ordinary summer’s day in Danville. Or not so ordinary according to Candace Flynn. For her it was another day of trying to bust her brothers for their dangerous projects. ‘I’m going to try anyway,’ she thought as she did most days that summer. She finished getting ready and started down for breakfast.
