A Man and His Box X
It was very weird, seeing Lawndale from the perspective of the past. Over the past day the Doctor, Nyssa and herself had scoured the town for unusual activity, only taking a break to spend the night at the Dutchman Inn.

As Andrea and Nyssa entered the Pizza King, she saw the members (or yet to be members, she wasn't sure,) of Mystik Spiral at one of the booths.
"You know them, or will know them?" Nyssa asked.

"Huh?"

"Those four teens?"

"Oh, they're in a grunge band in my time. Not a very successful one, but they have a cool sound," Andrea whispered.

"I'd like to hear to hear them," Nyssa whispered back.

"Maybe when we're in my time next," Andrea whispered with a slight smile. "But they're an acquired sound.

Nyssa nodded. "You don't see yourself here?"

"I don't."

"We still have to be sure that she doesn't enter whilst we are here."

"I know, I listened to the Doctor."

"I thought I'd remind you."

"A good idea."

As they ordered Pizza, Nyssa asked the teen boy, if there had been unusual activity.

"If you mean aliens, yes. They replaced my skin with a synthetic that's more sensitive."

"Really?" Nyssa asked.

However, Andrea recognised him from Sick Sad World, although she was certain he hadn't come to their attention yet. She drew Nyssa aside and brought this to her attention.

"I'm waiting," Artie said.

"Ah, yes," Nyssa said.

"Any unusual activity in the past few days."

"I saw a ship near High Hills Park last night," Artie responded.

"There, we go," Andrea said to Nyssa.

Once they had eaten the pizza, they went to find the Doctor.

Lawndale. It was always Lawndale. Always this rather suburban community in northern Maryland. Often he pondered whether there was a convergence in space and time in the town. a town that many companions seemed to have a link to.

"Where are we, Doctor?" One of his companions asked.

"Lawndale, five years before your time," the Doctor answered.

"Shouldn't the Blinovitch Limitation Effect stop us arriving at this time, Doctor?" his other companion asked.

"No, Nyssa, it merely stops one from attempting to redo something they have already been involved in."

"So, it's 1994, and something is happening in Lawndale?" the first companion asked.

"Yes. That's likely," the Doctor replied.

"Let's find out."

Andrea Hecuba stepped out of the TARDIS and saw that it had landed on the grounds of the Big Strawberry. She could see that the trees were shorter than she remembered. It was definitely the past. She turned and saw the Doctor and Nyssa exit the ship. "So, something is happening?"

The Doctor turned to his Goth companion. "I have no idea, but there is a risk of running into your earlier self."

"As long as we stay away from Glenfield Middle School, my street and the downtown area it should be fine," Andrea answered although she knew it wasn't as simple as that.

The Doctor locked the TARDIS. "Right, let's investigate."

Nyssa and Andrea exchanged a knowing look, before following him away from the Strawberry.

Rusty: I see divinity. I see Hatred!

Susan: Hatred? What?

Rusty: I see your hatred of the Daleks and it is good.

Susan: There must be more than that.

She sees Gallifrey explode, taking the Dalek fleet with it.

Susan: As much as I have tried to forgive, I can’t forget the loss of the Time Lords.

Rusty: Death to the Daleks! Death to the Daleks.

Susan: Please, there must be more than that.

Rusty: Daleks are evil. Daleks must be Exterminated. Daleks are evil.

The TARDIS was quiet. IT was times like these that Nyssa missed Traken, when she was in the console room while the Doctor was elsewhere on the ship.
The ship was proceeding smoothly through the vortex to their next destination. She knew that she and the Doctor were going to be in the thick of things at that destination. There was still time for ore meditation.

“They are ruthless, they keep only a small population of males for reproductive purposes. They kill the rest and their foot soldiers are cultivated in test tubes. For one purpose. To kill!”

“You make them sound similar to the Daleks, Doctor,” Jia’hale said with a shudder.

“No, they don’t kill everything. They just conquer. They have a large empire in Galaxy 4, in the 6th millennium AD,” the Doctor said.

It took five minutes for it to reach the shore of the closest continent, where it could detect a ship stuck on some rocks next to a mangrove swamp.

Alpha told the probe to scan that ship. Were there some survivors? Was it attempting some kind of mayday? She ran the scan images of the flags the ship was flying through the universal translator.

Doctor Who – A Rush Into Darkness
Nyssa re-entered the TARDIS into pandemonium. The Doctor and Tegan were arguing, again. But that was nothing new. But she also heard the deep tone of the Cloister Bell. “What’s going on?” she asked.

“I have no idea,” The Doctor answered.
Doctor who - Mystery in Sydney
The TARDIS landed and the inevitable question followed. “Where are we now?” Tegan Jovanka asked.

The Doctor at the most exasperating of his companions. “Give me a moment,” he said. There were times when the self-described ‘mouth on legs’ didn’t stop talking. “There we are. You should be able to see…” he said, as an image came up.

“Well, at least we’re on the right continent,” Tegan said as she looked at the Sydney Harbour Bridge on the scanner.

“Wait a moment,” the Doctor requested.

“What is it, Doctor?” Nyssa asked.

“We’re, quite a bit early,” the Doctor said as he shifted the focus on the scanner to show the Opera House under construction.

“Sydney, in the 1960s,” Tegan said. “Could be in worse places.”

TARDIS (Fifth, with Nyssa and Tegan)

It was quiet in the console room. Nyssa was flying the TARDIS, while the Doctor was talking to Tegan somewhere else aboard. In fact, Nyssa was sure that they were doing a lot more than merely talking. Suddenly the TARDIS shuddered.
