Jeremiah arrived at the Church. He saw that a few other people were already there, including Christi, his close friend. 'Cool,' he thought as his heart began to race. He then prayed, asking the LORD for more patience, in the matter he was thinking about.


Christi turned, and saw Jeremiah approaching. Her heart began to race. She still considered herself not ready for what he wanted. He stopped and held out a small package. "Happy Birthday," he said.

She took the package. "Thanks, Jeremiah," she said, and shook his hand. She opened the package.
