Excerpt from: Daria - Brittany
‘Another time.’

“Not surprising,” Daria said after Andrea had explained her confrontation with Quinn.

“Really?” Donna asked.

Daria nodded. “Growing up in Highland has affected us in different ways.”

“Still, she must be a handful.”

“Mom and I know how to handle her…” Daria responded.

Andrea wasn’t sure how to respond to that. She looked to Brittany, who had a thoughtful expression on her face. ‘Obviously thinking about Brian,’ she thought.

“Hopefully they won’t fight again,” Donna said.


Sandi came up to Quinn. “What were you doing?” she asked.

“What do you mean, Sandi?”

“You were about to fight Andrea.”

“Is that her name? And I wasn’t!”

“Yes! That is her name, and yes, you were about to fight her. Like, you can’t obfuscate with me.”

Quinn raised an eyebrow. ‘Challenge accepted,’ she thought. “Maybe. But she was being really unnerving!”

“That’s no excuse.”

“We should be there on time,” Sandi said.

“Sorry that it took time,” Tiffany said.

“Don't mention it,” Sandi said.


Mack answered the door and saw a few of his team mates. “Joey, Jeffy and John?” he sasked.

“It's Jamie!”

“Sorry, Jamie,” Mack said. “You can come in.”

“Is Quinn Morgendorffer here?” Joey asked as he came in.

“She isn't, but Daria is.”

“Daria? Really?” Jeffy asked.

“Yes,” Mack said. “It seems she's the only one who was actually invited.”

“Oh, it's Jane's place!” Joey realised.

Bond emerged from the bedroom. He was quite sore from that blow. He knew where Hernandez would go. He soon found that she had taken the device.


Daniela finished disguising herself. 'But my hair?' she didn't want to shave it. 'Baffin has follicular stimulators, but still.' She heard a noise on the other side of the door, and jumped. 'Maybe I could use it on him.' She reacted quickly, leaving the shaver on the sink and hiding her hair beneath a hat. She grabbed the device and looked around.

Excerpt from: Star Wars: The Sith Rise
“No more commands from her Highness today, Captain. This spaceport is not going to be pleasant.”

“The Queen wishes it,” Panaka stated. “She is curious about this planet.”

Qui-Gon wasn't sure. It was something to add to the overall uncertainty. “This is not a good idea. Stay close to me.”


Padme looked at the spaceport as they entered it. It was a perfect place to enact her plan. But she had to get the lay of the ground first, without raising the Jedi's suspicions.

“...moister farms for the most part. Some indigenous tribes and scavengers. The few spaceports like this one are havens for those who do not wish to be found...” he said.

“Like us,” she commented.

“We'll find a scrap merchant.”

As she emerged from Brittany's room, Daria could hear Ashely-Amber arguing with Kevin somewhere downstairs. 'He certainly is persistent,' she thought. But she didn't know where he was.
