Excerpts from: The Many Doctors
“But do you know if all of them have been?” Felicia asked.
“Not sure, but certainly most,” the Doctor said.
“That at least is good,” Felicia said.
They entered the center of the station.
“...Come on Adam. Open your mind. You're going to like this. Fantastic period of history. The human race at its most intelligent. Culture, Art, Politics. This era has got fine food, good manners...
A man then barrelled past them. “Out of the way!” he said.
“Good manners?” Felicia asked.
Suddenly they see people everywhere, some of them hawking junk food.
“Fine cruisine?” Rose asked.
“My watch must be wrong,” the Doctor pondered. “No, it's fine. It's weird.”
“That's what comes of showing off. Your history's not as good as you thought it was,” Rose said.
“My history's perfect.”
“Well obviously not,” Rose retorted.
“They're all human. What about the millions of planets, the millions of species? Where are they?” Adam asked.
“Good, question. Actually that's a good question. Adam, me old mate, you must be starving,” the Doctor said.
“No, just a little time sick,” Adam retorted.
The Doctor found out how much a burger was and then soniced a nearby credit outlet. It produced three cards. He gave one to each companion. “There you go, pocket money. Don't spend it all on sweets.”
“How does it work?” Adam asked.
“Go and find out. Stop nagging me.The thing is, Adam, time travel's like visiting Paris. You can't just read the guide book, you've got to throw yourself in. Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, get charged double and end up kissing complete strangers. Or is that just me? Stop asking questions, go and do it. Off you go, then.”
Rose, Felicia and Adam went off. The Doctor approached two ladies nearby. “This is going to sound daft, but can you tell me where I am?”
“All staff are reminded that the canteen ara now operates a self cleaning table system. Thank you!”
Rose handed something to both Adam and Felicia. “Try this. It's called Zaphic, it's like a, er, Slush Puppy,” she said.
“What flavour?” Adam asked.
…
“We'll get out of this. I promise,” the captain said.
Martha looked out a porthole. “Doctor!”
“Forty two minutes until what?” the Doctor asked.
“Doctor! Look.”
“Forty two minutes until we crash into the sun.”
The Doctor took the information in. “How many crew members on board?” he asked.
“Seven, including us,” the Captain answered.
“We transport cargo across the galaxy. Everything's automated. We just keep the ship spaceworthy,” the older man answered.
“Call the others. I'll get you out.”
“What's he doing?” the younger man asked.
The Doctor tried to reopen the bulkhead door. He is knocked over by an overwhelmingly hot blast of air. The new arrival closed the door. “But my ship's in there!”
“In the vent chamber?” the younger man asked.
“It's our lifeboat,” the Doctor said.

Excerpts from: Galactic Journeys
The plasma tore into the drones, but there were too many of them.
“Sacramento to shuttles, focus on the drones!”
“Aye, Captain.”
The shuttles redeployed, attacking the drones. The Saratoga continued attacking the Operative's ship.
Some of the Al-Batani's shots joined theirs.
The ship rocked. But there was no damage.
Chapter 44: Barbeque Story
“He will be put into foster care,” the doctor said.
“The couple looked at each other. They each gauged the other wondering what they were about to do would be a good idea. They hadn't planned on having children, not for a few years yet. “No!” Donnie said once he was sure that Kyra was deferring to responsibility to him.
“Are you offering to take him in?” the Doctor asked in surprise.
“Yes,” both Kyra and Donnie said simultaneously.
“You will have to apply at Child Protective Services,” the Doctor said.
They both nodded.
Chapter 45: Waiter, There's a Baby in My Soup
Darian awoke.
Chapter 46: 43
The Professor opened a bulkhead door, and went through, followed by her travelling companions.
Two women and a man ran towards tehm.
“Oi you two!” a young woman said.
“Who are you? What are you doing on my ship?” the man asked.
“Are you police?” the woman who had spoken earlier asked.
“Why would we be police?” the Professor asked.
“We got your distress signal,” Mark said.
“Why can't I hear the engines?”
“They went dead four minutes ago,” the man said.
“So maybe we should stop chatting and get to Engineering, Captain.”
“Secure Closure active,” a computer said.
Chapter 47: Still Searching for Felix
“Why are you asking your past self?” the female companion said.
“Because, I don't remember seeing him in this incarnation. Time is being rewritten,” the older Professor said.
“It's it always being re-written? In this area of the galaxy, anyway?” Ezra asked.
“No, not always,” the old Professor said.
“The Citadel reverses the alterations that come to their notice,” the younger Professor said, with irony.
“What happened when he appeared?” the older Professor asked.
“He continued to travel with me for a while,” the younger Professor answered.
“And?”

Excerpt from: Doctor Who: Tegan
They entered the console room.
“So, Tegan?” Clara asked, holding up the picture.
“She was present at my fourth regeneration,” the Doctor said.
“Regeneration?” Shona asked.
“He’ll fill you in later,” Clara said.
“Yes,” the Doctor said as Shona nodded.
“Understand this, she wasn’t the only one,” the Doctor said.
“So, why her and not the other?” Clara asked.
“Good question. I will answer it.”
“Sure.”
