Late 1951
North America
The war continues, with the last of the TUNA forces driven out of American territory.
Allies
Canada
Toronto is re-captured from the Great Lakes forces, along with most of southern Ontario.
Dakotan forces are driven out of the Athabasca region. It is soon discovered that they had attempted to extract the oil sands as a fuel source.
United States
The siege of Pittsburgh is broken. The Great Lakes forces are driven out of Pennsylvania by the end of the year.
Elsewhere, Great Lakes, Dakotan and Cascadian forces are driven off American territory by the end of November.
Mexico
With most of the Cascadian Coast captured by Allied forces, Mexico withdraws most of it's naval support from the war.
Axis
Cascadia
The Cascadian Government debates whether to increase conscription to raise the forces necessary to hold back the American and British forces. The these discussions are still ongoing as of the end of the year.
Dakota
With the war decidedly not in their favour, the Dakota Council debates whether remaining tied to Cascadia and the Great Lakes would be advantageous. Therefore, towards the end of the year, a vote is taken. The Council votes 10/12 to secede from the True Union. This would take effect from the 1st January 1952.
Great Lakes
At some point Coughlin sees the writing on the wall. It is almost certainly after much of the southern region of the National Union is captured by American troops. Still he wants to delay the inevitable for as long as possible. Two different conscription programs are initiated. One to provide more troops for the front lines. The other, to man the production lines in the surviving factories in Detroit and other cities.
South America
This continent may be untouched by the War, but there is still intrigue. The German attempts to tempt Argentina into the Axis (so the UK would be further distracted by the invasion of Patagonia) ultimately fail.
Africa
More of the German colonies are captured. However, as in previous wars, the real losers (or victims) are the the indigenous populations caught in the middle of the colonialists war, and often used as cannon fodder.
Europe
Allies
Emboldened by British and American help, the French drive the German forces out of their territory. The British expand their holding from their beachhead near Hamburg. The Danish capture the remaining German forces in Jutland. Given the remaining animosity between Denmark and the United Kingdom over the Canadian War and the result of the previous world war, the two nations don't coordinate well. The UK only agrees not to send it's troops over the Danish border.
The Russians drive the Polish forces over the border in many places.
Axis
Despite recent defeats, the German Government still believes that the war is winnable. Bombed factories are repaired and more war materials are produced.
Asia
Allies
Israel manages to break out and force back the Iranian forces from the various defensive walls around Jerusalem. It would be shown that the Jewish population to the east of Jerusalem would be much less than it was before the war....
Axis
Mysore and the Vietnamese find the tables turned, with the British and the Taungoo pressing into their core territories.
Oceania
Last Gasp of Spite. Mysore sends their last aircraft carrier in an attempt to drop dirty bombs on the Western Australian port of Broome. But the ship is sent to the bottom by a British submarine.
With the war ending on Danish soil, soldiers begin returning home to Australia.
The population of Armidale reaches 12000. (It would be higher if people hadn't gone off to war.) Only 600 speak Danish as a first language.
The population of Dubbo reaches 18500. (Like Armidale, many had gone to war).
