20. Godzilla vs Kong
The fourth film in the Legendary Monsterverse, although it does stand alone. Sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island. Godzilla and Kong are on a collision course after the machinations of humans cause trouble. This was a good film, better than the predecessor films, in that there isn’t constant cutting away from the Kaiju battles. Some of the human motivations are obscure, but that is only a minor quibble. 8.35/10.
16. Godzilla: The Planet Eater
Conclusion of the trilogy started by Planet of the Monsters. A new threat approaches. A good continuation of the various themes of the other two films. 8.7/10.
15. Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle
Sequel to Planet of the Monsters. A plan is forged to defeat Godzilla. But is the price too much to pay? A rather good continuation. 8.55/10.
14. Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters
Based on the original Godzilla movies. A refugee ship returns to Earth to find that Godzilla is still there after tens of thousands of years. 8.6/10.

“Of course you are,” the Doctor groused as Clara grabbed the katana.

The Doctor peeked out from beneath the table as Clara stood up and went over to the two armed geishas. ‘It should be me doing that!’ he thought. Maybe there were katanas beneath every table. How prepared were they?

“What? The Bunyip?” Dani asked.

“Yes, of course the Bunyip!” the Doctor retorted. “The capability for self-deception. I can hardly believe it at times.”

“That’s part of what makes us human,” Clara said.

The Doctor grumbled. He had to admit that she was right. He grabbed a menu. This was his first time at a restaurant in an Australian country town. “Yabbie and Prawns?”

“Probably some kind of crayfish,” Clara considered.

“Who would eat a meal consisting only of crustaceans?”

The creature slipped back into the ocean, having defeated the interloper. The balance was no longer in danger of being destroyed. He headed back towards the location of his former home.

Denver, Colorado
The United States was in a shambles. The devastation of the Eastern Seaboard had cause much more disruption than the San Francisco Incident had. Monarch had a lot to answer for how the situation was handled.

Madison Russell entered the courthouse that one of the Congressional Committees had appropriated. Most of Congress (and the President) had escaped DC before the Ghidora storm had hit.
