Aurora and the Reformation. The various clergy in the Church of Aurora read Martin Luther’s writings and find them more Biblical than what the Papacy had been putting out. A lot of theological discussion occurs. Ultimately, the Althing passes a law that splits the Church of Aurora from Rome, with the Archbishop of Urbs Aeterna being the temporal head of the Church. However, there are tensions that arise between the remaining devout Catholics and the now Lutheran majority.
