Faithfulness in the face of persecution.
vs 13 - 17
Human authority is under God's authority.
Honor human authority.
Fear God.

vs 15
Do good in God's behalf.

Who grind's on you? Do good to them. Show them God's light.

Galatians 2:20.

God's calling to you is to suffer.
You will have troubles in this world.

Not mindless pain. It is suffering for the sake of Christ.

The rod and staff comforting is what we should be focused on, not the valley of the shadow of death.

It is for His Name's sake.

By nature we are self centred, but by focusing on God we can stand the world's waves.

God's example to you is Jesus.

The suffering servant.
