“Quinn?” Xavier asked.
“Yes?” Quinn asked.
“You think your sister and Brittany…?”
“Maybe,” Quinn answered with a giggle. “It’ll be fine.”
The rest of the afternoon went well. Jen, Daria and Brittany met the rest of the class at F Moss Three.
“Is everyone here?” Bennett asked as she looked around.
“Yes,” Jodie answered after she looked around herself.
“Good!” Bennett said. “Time to return to Lawndale!”
“Good,” Daria said under her breath.
They soon returned to the bus. Daria hoped that the journey back would be less nausea inducing.
Quinn and the others left the Mall soon afterwards. “Maybe we’ll be back sometime,” Sam said.
“Maybe, but too soon,” Quinn said. “I have found what I wanted to find.”
“Are you sure?” Xavier asked.
Quinn nodded.
“Now, where’s the car again?”
“We’ll find it,” Quinn said encouragingly.
“It will just take a while,” Sam said.
Despite the size of the parking lot they found the car within ten minutes. Therefore, they were also on their way back to Lawndale without delay.
“What did you think of the Mall?” Xander asked.
“More than a little large,” Quinn commented. “But I’m glad we managed the trip.”
“Same,” Sam commented.
It turned out that the journey back was slightly better. Daria didn’t throw up. They arrived back in Lawndale shortly before sunset. “I can drop you off.” Brittany offered to Daria and Jennifer.
“I have my own car,” Jennifer said. “But you can take Daria.”
Daria glared at Jennifer briefly. “Sure.”
Daria and Brittany arrived at the Morgendorffers at the same time as Xander, Quinn and the others. “It was interesting,” Brittany said.
“Yes, it was,” Daria said as she got out. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
As Brittany drove off, Daria went to the door, which was opened by Ronnie. “How was it?” she asked.
“About what one would expect. Ask Quinn,” Daria responded.
“Thanks for the trip, Xander,” Quinn said as she went the door to find Ronnie waiting for her and Sam.
“You’re welcome,” Xander responded with a blush.
Quinn smiled as she turned to Ronnie and began to tell her all about the Mall of the Millennium.
“Yes?” Quinn asked.
“You think your sister and Brittany…?”
