Revelation 4
A throne in Heaven.
He holds the power.
A picture of God surrounded by His glory and mercy.
vs 11
He is worthy. Power and awesomeness.

Immensity.
The Throne - authority. He is unchallenged.
vs 3
Jasper - reddish brown
Carnelian - reddish and translucent
Emerald - exaggerated greenish hue
God's glory - shining with mercy and justice.
vs 4
The elders - representing God's family. Those who have been redeemed.
God is able to deliver on His promises.

What keeps you from being zelous for God? He is more interesting than anything of the world.

To focus on God, keep reading and thinking on the Scriptures.
vs 5, 6
The sea.
He is set apart. He is Holy.
God is reflected in the living creatures.

He is offended at our sins. That is why Jesus was sent to die on the Cross and rise again.
Romans 10:13

vs 10, 11
He created and sustains all.

When we see the Glory of God
We will have greater confidence to face an unknown future because this all-powerful God is on our side and He will never be defeated.
We will be motivated to live for Him, follow Him and resist temptation.
We will worship Him.
