Excerpt from: Daria - Brittany
The gatecrashers were quite disruptive, interrupting conversations and dance routines. Joey and Jamie turned on one of them after he tried to dance with Quinn.

“Guy’s. I don’t think that is a good idea!” Quinn said.

“Looks like you caused a problem, Quinn,” Sandi said.

“No, I didn’t, Sandi,” Quinn said with an eye on Jeffy, who looked like he was going to join the fray with his friends.

“Fine I will dance with someone else!” the other guy said when he looked at Jeffy.

Donna came back to her friends. “They will be here in five minutes.”

“That’s quick,” Brittany said.

“Huh?” Daria asked.

“Last time they took fifteen minutes,” Brittany answered.

“I see,” Daria said.

They could then hear more commotion. Jodie Landon came running over. “I think Kevin is going to do something stupid with gatecrashers.”

Brittany sighed. “I’ll tell him to go home.”

“What about Mack?” Donna asked.

“I was going to say that.”

As they entered the near side of the village they could hear the village crier calling out the news of the day. The Doctor had already determined that the village was pre-industrial. “We should ask the crier first,” he said.

“Of course,” Janelle said.

The Doctor looked at Janelle, both of them stuck out like sore thumbs. “Not much I can do about it now.”

“What?” Janelle asked rhetorically. “Our clothes?”

“Late twentieth century or later.”

“Or my hair.”

“That can be hidden,” the Doctor said.

“Of course.”

She bent down to Chuckie's level. “Hi, Chuckie.”

The red haired boy refused to make eye contact, instead lowering his gaze.

'To be expected,' Daria thought. She looked over to where her grandfather was complaining.

“Puppet show for one-year-olds? Why, when I was a spud, we didn't have puppet shows! "If we wanted entertainment, we went out back and pulled up stumps!”

“He's always, like that, don't worry,” she said to Chuckie. She stood up. “You know where it is,” she said to Mrs. DeVille.

“That I do.”

Chuckie and the twins joined Tommy in the playpen.

“I know. But as I told the Queen, I have tricks up my sleeve.”

The Queen knew Voyager was almost out of torpedoes. Phasers alone wouldn't destroy that Armada. The Collective pressed its attack.

Tuvok fired most of the remaining torpedoes, which along with additional phaser fire, destroyed two cubes and knocked an additional one out of the conduit.

“Only one torpedo left!” Ayala reported.
