The ninth episode of the second season. While Cerritos is on a long warp through an empty region of space, a Klingon bird of prey and Vulcan cruiser are also in the same area. On Cerritos the lower deckers connect with ‘Bridge buddies’, including Mariner with Captain Freeman. But Boimler finds he is not being himself with Ransom. On the IKS Che’ta a Klingon lower decker finds that his captain is acting dishonorably with the Pakleds, supporting them in their campaign against the Federation, and that the ‘Ritos is in their sights.
On the Sh’val, an impulsive (by Vulcan standards) lower decker named T’Lyn is working on something, and finds a strange sensor reading. That this leads to them assisting Cerritos against the Pakleds and Che’ta was very well done. I am certain we’ll see more of her, given what happens at the episode’s conclusion. The best so far. 9.4/10.
