The first episode of the second season. As Cerritos wraps up Second Contact operations on Apergos, something happens to Commander Ransom… The opening scene with Mariner’s workout session was rather good. But on to the actual story. With Ransom being affected by Strange Energies due to Mariner’s side activities, Cerritos comes under threat. The actions of Ransom were done very well, and appropriately humorous, as were the Captain/daughter duo working at cross purposes. The resolution of the situation was done well too.
The Tendi and Rutherford side story was done well too. It’s still humorous, but Tendi can be scary when she’s determined. Overall it was good beginning to the season. 8.2/10.
