The Doctor’s POV
The TARDIS shook as it went through time. The Doctor entered the Console Room, followed by his companion Melanie Bush. “Do you know what the cause of this turbulence is, Doctor?” the latter asked.
“I have no idea, but I’ll soon find out,” the Doctor answered.
“What are you going to do?” Mel asked.
“I’m not sure,” the Doctor said as he looked at a readout on the Console. “We’ve passed through a small Charged Vacuum Emboitment.”
“A CVE?” Mel asked with concerned.
“Yes. Therefore, I have no idea where we are.”
The TARDIS shook again and began to rematerialize.
The Doctor switched the Scanner on. He saw that they had arrived in a medieval style city. “It’s strange that a city would be so close to a CVE.”
