The Secret Service agent again lead Biden to the subbasement room where the Temporal Vehicle was kept. He hoped that he would get along with Jefferson better than he had with Adams. He arrived at the room where the Time Vehicle was kept.

“The TARDIS is certainly taking it’s time isn’t it?”
“Yes…”
However, at that moment the rotor on the console stopped moving with the usual voorp! voorp! sound. The ship had landed.
Tegan stepped outside first. She saw that the ship had materialized in a mid-sized park in a city somewhere. She knew that it wasn’t on Earth as she could see two moons that were both half the apparent size of Earths’ moon, one nearer to the horizon than the other. ‘One must be larger and further away,’ she thought, remembering something the Doctor had told her about orbital mechanics at some point.
The Doctor and Turlough followed her out. “Polonia,” the Doctor said.
“You recognize it from the moons?” Tegan asked.
“Not only that, but some of the vegetation in this park,” the Doctor answered.

“Then you are lucky.”
“I have talked with the Voyager crew about the Federation. Its core worlds are very highly developed.”
Hana picked up on what Kes wasn’t saying. “But the periphery? Chakotay said he and others fought a race called Cardassians?”
“Obviously not perfect. It seems the Federation had resolved a border dispute in the Cardassian Union’s favour and the colonists on the wrong side of the border put up a fight rather than be displaced from their homes.”
“That is definitely different to our experience with the Kazon.”

O’Brien had seen the others on the Battle Bridge disappear, only to reappear seconds later.
“What is our present course, conn?” Data asked.
O’Brien checked the console. “It’s what It’s been all along, sir. Direct heading to Farpoint Station.” That was strange. He remembered changing course after the Saucer Separation. ‘Must be that Q’s doing,’ he thought. He made a mental note to check the computer logs thoroughly later. “Know anything about Farpoint Station, sounds like a fairly dull place.”
“We’ve heard that we may find it rather interesting,” the Captain said.
