Lorraine Baines was uncertain. Calvin Kline was cute, but strange. She waited outside for him to pick her up to go to the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. It was foolish, but then wasn’t all love foolish? To meet someone and then spend each other’s lives with them. That was one reason why she disliked Biff Tannen so! His advances were unwelcome and he drank to excess. She had heard stories. She shook her head, clearing her mind of those thoughts. She then heard a car coming. She was sure it was Calvin!
Marty McFly arrived at his grandparent’s house. He hoped see it again in 1985. But something told him that success wasn’t guaranteed, that despite all the effort he had put into putting things right, he would fail. He shook his head, trying to dispel the memories of the nightmares he had had over the last week. ‘If Doc doesn’t read that letter. If George doesn’t dance with Lorraine…’
Lorraine opened the door, distracting him from his line of thought.
