1 John 1:6, 7
Those who claim to have 'special knowledge' of God and who avoid others are self-decieved.
We need to be self aware, and to value one another.

1 John 1:8, 9
As our concience becomes cleansed by the Spirit we come close to God.
If we claim to be without sin, we are deluded (like a kitten seeing a lion in the mirror) and make God out to be a liar!

Psalm 51:10
God does the same with us as he did with David.
