Cherie, Danielle, Elias, Jeanie, Louise, Nicole, Quinn and Stephanie were a block and a half behind them. They were having no further luck. “Are you sure it’s near here?” Elias asked Jeanie.
“Yes,” Jeanie answered.
“We’ll just keep looking then,” Elias said.
Quinn came up to him.
“Yes, Quinn?”
“A few of the kids in this street have reported that several of the families whose houses are underneath the pile have called their parents saying that their rooves are starting to collapse!” She said in a slight panic.
Elias took this in. “That’s not good, Quinn. We’ll have to hurry.”
“I agree,” Quinn said,
“Go and get Cherie, Danielle and Stephanie,” he asked her.
“Um, sure,” Quinn said.
Back at Casa Lane, they had figured out where to search next. Daria, Trent and Max left in the direction of the Morgendorffer’s house.
Meanwhile, Stacy and Tiffany started calling other popular students at Lawndale High, to see if they had heard anything.
In a mansion in Crewe Neck, a former model answered the phone. “Hi, you have reached the Taylor’s, Ashley-Amber here.”
“Hi, Ashley-Amber,” Stacy began. “Is Brittany there?”
Ashley-Amber thought. She knew that her step-daughter wasn’t there. “I haven’t seen her since last night,” she answered.
“I see,” Stacy said. “I’ll call back later,” she said.

“Let’s search here,” Jennifer suggested.
“Certainly,” Louise said.
The group, including Corey, began to search the area.
Chip awoke. The dreams that she had just had were weird. She leapt out of the bed and ran to one of the portals. ‘Maybe there is something helpful, somewhere, in that place,’ she thought. She then ran into the portal.

His younger brother, Peter, who was acting as the Tactical Officer responded. “There is nothing to report, there has been no unusual activity.”
“Thanks,” Phillip said as he went to the ready room.

“Where is it?” Jasmine asked.
“In the North Dega Fruit Market,” Jeanie answered.
“Let’s go,” Annie decided.
However, in the fruit market, Jane Lane found the Emerald!
“Wow!” She said. She considered what to do. “I wish I knew where Elias Howarth and Daria Morgendorffer are.”
“Elias Howarth is at 29 Kay Street. The residence of Lisbeth Ogden, in other words. Daria Morgendorffer is somewhere in Lawndale High School,” came Jeanie’s voice from the PA system.
“Who?” Jane asked.
“You may know her as Chipmunk or Chip,” Jean said in a tone that reminded Jane of Daria.

111 Howard Drive
Jane was mixing coffee in the kitchen when she heard a strange sound in the lounge room. She went to investigate and found Daria, Quinn and Jodie. “How did you get in here?” She asked. “I'm sure that the doors are locked.”
“Time machine,” Jodie said, pointing out the vehicle behind her.
“That's impossible,” Jane said.
“Obviously, it's not,” Daria said.
“Wow!” Jane said as the situation sank in.
“So you want to come with us?” Jodie asked.
“Where are we going?” Jane asked,
“We haven't decided yet,” Daria said.
“I see,” Jane said. She had some ideas.
“We're going to Stacy's next,” Quinn said.
“Sure,” Jane said.
