Daria Morgendorffer got up late. Just as well it was a Saturday. The 'Jackson Pollock Memorial Dance' was interesting, but exhausting. She was certain that meeting Upchuck's cousins made it a bust. It was only seeing Quinn's frenemies locked out in the snow that made the night a plus. She got out of bed. “Another boring day in Lawndale,” she said. Although, Lawndale wasn't that boring. It had at least two public libraries, which was always a plus in Daria's book.
When Daria had come down to the kitchen she found that her friend Jane Lane was there already. “Jane?” she asked.
“Yo, Amiga. I thought I would meet you here, instead of you coming over.”
“Trent has Monique over doesn't he?”
Jane sighed. “Yes!” She ejaculated. “Her band is aptly named, in my opinion.”
“But we're not going to talk about that.”
