The city of Cereston appeared to run smoothly, but that was only the surface. As always, things were not as they appeared...
Gabrielle Lawson-Elton left checked her handbag as she left her apartment. She had everything, including her tablet. She then closed the door. She had to rush to be able to get to work before the rush started.
However, this was not a normal day in the city. Things were going to change, in unexpected ways.
Gabrielle was close to work, when suddenly, the train shuddered. 'That's not right!' she thought, as she grabbed one of the handrails in fear. As she looked around she used her other hand to brush her hair off her face. Other people were also afraid. Then a public service announcement came on.
