Psalmist - Everything is so vast because it came from God. You matter because you are in relationship with Him.

The existence of pain does not prove the absence of love.
(You can't use it to disprove God's existence)

The existence of evil is the result of the fall; it is not part of God's original creation

Free Will - makes possible love as well as evil
A world of automata would not be capable of love

If there is no God, why should we be outraged when bad things happen to people?

In Jesus we meet a God who will defeat suffering by suffering Himself.

Look at the eternal perspective. Life on the other side of death will take your breath away.

Yes
It's real

Sheol - Old Testament Hebrew 'Grave'

Gahenna - a real place - a valley south-east of Jerusalem
King Ahaz set up worship of the Canaanite god Molech there... (Worship of Molech involved detestible practices, such as child sacrifice!)
Became a garbage dump
Still uninhabited today.

Sin - everyone's biggest problem

- Sin is real

Both aren't metaphors
But they are described metaphorically.

Hell
Where the soul will be consumed by its sin without hope of grace.

Jesus took the punishment for us. He knows the way out of Hell, because He is that Way.

Titus was sent into a difficult situation.

Hosea 1:2
Hosea was in a difficult situation - God had called him to marry an unfaithful woman.
Hosea's relationship with Gomer is a picture of God's relationship with Israel
Are you prepared to do a difficult job for God?
Don't let difficulty and circumstances drive you away from God!

Knowledge of the truth - leads to godliness.
