Saul was very aggressive against the Church.

He wasn't just following orders.

Galatians 1:13
He was obsessed. He thought it was blasphemous.

A dramatic conversion
The most dramatic thing: Saul's heart was forever changed.
In His Sovereignty and Power, God chooses people.

Galatians 1:13 - 16

He took us from death to life.

No one is outside the grace of God. No one is too far gone for Jesus' blood to cover them,

Response:
Pure joy and thanksgiving
We all have dramatic conversions to share.

Changed your heart

Saul is baptised.

Colossians 2:12
Saul knew his old life, his old heart was gone.
Baptism:
- A symbol of the eternal change
- A Declaration that Jesus has taken our sins away.

Ananias didn't beleive what God was saying to him about taking in Saul. Yet he called him brother. He trusted God's Sovereign Grace.
God does more than you can ask or imagine.
