The Australasian Outpost on Cruithne was quiet. (Even after centuries of Off-Earth migration, it was still considered an 'Outpost'. In practice it was more of a way station, or a backwater, depending on it's orbital position relative to Earth.)
A young man walked into a cafe in the middle of the outpost-city.

President Waters authorises the DOD to spy upon the corporations attempting to develop Faster Than Light travel, after a report on the previous year's failed test reaches her desk.

Brinkmanship occurs between the USUP and the Federation of Russian Mars on their shared border. Cooler heads prevail...

Tesla-Apple's Board sacks it's CEO, Susannah Kessler, due to the amount of funds that had been wasted on the Faster Than Light development project. The project is suspended, pending investigation.

Mercurian Zeeland joins the UCR.

A Nigerian led block of nations begin to debate on leaving the UCR. (Formalising the discussions that had been going on since the end of the Mars War.
