"Very cute!" Tiffany Blum-Deckler said, as she looked at the round object in the mirror. "Very pretty!"

"Tiffany, what are you doing?" her friend Quinn Morgendorffer asked.

"Navel Gazing," Tiffany answered, her eyes still on her navel. She hadn't heard Quinn approaching.

"It is cute, but..." Quinn began, but she was interrupted.

"Tiffany, dear," Sandi Griffin said. "I don't think that is what people mean when they say they're, like, navel gazing."

She hadn't heard Sandi approaching either. "Oh?" she asked, her eyes still looking over her navel for imperfections.

"They mean, thinking about themselves in a way that excludes others," Quinn said.

"Oh!" Tiffany said, confused.

"Come, let's go shopping!" Sandi decided.

"Sure!" Tiffany said. She took her eyes off her navel. 'At least it doesn't look fat!' She put the compact in her purse and took Quinn's offered hand and allowed her to pull her up from the picnic blanket as Stacy came running up.
55. True Grit (1969)
The previous adaption of the novel by Charles Portis. This version of Mattie Ross isn’t quite as consumed by revenge as the other. She is livelier, but that doesn’t reduce her determination and stubbornness any. The story of her quest and the consequences thereof were still depicted very well. However, the cinematography isn’t as well developed. Even so the prairie was still showed off very effectively. 8.92/10.
