The leader of the group sighed. “I’ll repeat myself,” she said. “On behalf of the Time Variance Authority I hereby place you under arrest for crimes against the Sacred Timeline. Come with us please.”
“Time Variance Authority? Who are they?”
“You’ll find out, Variant.”
As Daria found herself mired in the TVA’s bureaucracy, she reflected that maybe she shouldn’t have told Mrs. Manson what she wanted to hear.
