A movie about a young bride who finds she's haunted by her new husband's former wife, based on a book by Daphne de Mourier. It certainly is different in tone to the previous adaptation by Alfred Hitchcock. However, that it not to it's detriment. The story of the young woman and the world of Manderley was still told in a very good way. More in the longer review. 9.55/10.
