North America
British-Nordic North America
In Alberta, advocacy for Provincial Status continues.

Tensions continue to rise between Burgundy and the Iroquis Confederacy.

Cascadia
The crash electrification program completes. Every town has a power station, and every farm a steam generator.

Dakota
Recent immigrants (mostly from Canada, Ohio Valley or the Plains Republic, but also from the United States) clash with more established settlers in the south. Eventually, cooler heads prevail.

Plains Republic
Oil is struck for the first time.

United States
Rockefeller continues to gain support in Congress for his project to separate Ohio Valley from the rest of the British-Nordic Empire. Even so, President Johnson wants nothing of it. (It would be his successor, Douglas, who would agree.)

South America

Africa
Ethiopia takes advantage of the continued Israeli/USHC conflict and invades Sudan. (Thereby, backstabbing the Israeli's...)

The British-Nordic forces continue to progress into Katangan territory, following the invasion late the previous year.

With support for Dominion Status in South Africa growing, the South African colonies are given their own Realm in preparation. The Governor in Pretoria becomes Governor-General (and no longer has to report to the Governor-General in Delhi).

Europe
Tensions continue to rise between Italy and Switzerland.

The political instability continues to grow. With the Scandinavian Conference in it's third year, the details of the secession(s) are yet to be worked out. (The majority are for a unified Nordic nation, but there are those who think that each nation should be independent.)
Even with the Realms being seen as obsolete and abolition being considered, Westminster passes leglislation to divide the Indo-African Realm into the Realm of Africa and the Realm of the Indies. The Imperial Council increases from Four to Five.

Asia
With the Israeli forces capturing Jerusalem the main USHC forces continue to retreat to the north.

The Spanish forces continue to move along the Two Rivers.

In Sindh-Punjab, the defending forces collapse, with most of the nation being taken over by the British-Nordic-Indian forces.

The Indon Empire defeats a rebellion in sourthern Sumatra.

1. Asylum of the Borg
USS Voyager NCC 74656 continued on it’s way towards the distant Alpha Quadrant.

Kes was dreaming.
“I don’t think I asked you to sit,” she said to the figure in front of her.

“There’s a man who wants to meet you.”

“Why should I mee him?”

“Voyager’s help is required.”

“Who are you?” Kes asked.

“A messenger.”

“Who’s message are you bringing?”

“Karlon ‘Darl. Here are the coordinates,” the figure answered with the coordinates floating next to him. “His son is in danger and only Voyager can save him.”

“Yes.” Kes was afraid. She knew where the coordinates were pointing. Somewhere ahead of Voyager’s position.

“Say it.”

“No.”

“Name to planet.”

Kes awoke, breathing heavily. “Computer, lights!”

As the quarters became more illuminated something continued to prompt her to say something.

“Vmit. One of the earliest planets assimilated by the Borg!”
