Low on power, the drone approached its base station near the Macquarie River.
Liliana Ferguson watched it land on the platform and then took the secondary storage. She touched it to her left nape port. The data could be transferred wirelessly of course, but that usually took up to six times longer. Nearly 30 seconds, instead of nearly five. The general overlay of Dubbo then appeared in her optical implants. The information copied she placed the secondary storage back in the drone.
She focused her attention on the overlay as she headed back to her vehicle. There was a lot of information to sort through but she had expected that.
