Excerpt from: Changes in Time and Space
The Doctor told her companions to run. They ran to a nearby park and hid behind some trees before the figures in the ship could see them.
“What are they Doctor?” Felicia asked. She wondered if this was what the TARDIS was warning her about. She thought some more. No it wasn't she decided.
“Drahvins! But how could they have gained the capability to time travel without my knowing?” the Doctor asked.
“They look all female, Doctor,” Daniel said.
“Don’t let that fool you, Dan.”

“What?” Lawson asked.
“Why would someone do this sort of thing on an uninhabited planet?”
“No idea,” T'Sal answered.
“And also, there were previous surveys, why wasn't this picked up then?”
“Previous surveys of this system were done entirely aboard the ships in question. And the last was done just before the war with the Dominion. As you are aware, Starfleet's priorities were elsewhere.”
“Of course,” Hernandez said. She didn't really want to think about the War.
“There's another one,” Lu confirmed.
“That's seven, then,” Emmerson stated.

Jess and Daniel arrived at Daniel’s room, or what should have been Daniel’s room. She looked at the sign that said ‘Danae’s Room’ instead of ‘Daniel’s Room’. “Something happened back in 1980 to change from male to female,” Daniel explained.
“I get that,” Jess said. “If it can change that way. It can be changed back.”
“But we don’t know what caused that change.”
