Age of Heroes - Part 1

Little did people know that towards the end of the 20th Century that things would change. But change they would. Astronomy hadn't advanced to the point where the Cloud could be picked up ahead of time.
The cloud was just that, a cloud. But it was of various strange materials, and the path it took around the middle of the Milky Way would intersect with that of the Solar System, and eventually, Earth.
It would be a new age. An Age of Heroes. And of Villains...
Part 1: Heroes and Villains
January 1976
The meteor shower and the emergence of powers portend massive changes for the world.
January 1, 1976:
A strange glowing meteor falls on the outskirts of Winchester, Maryland.
( (And all over the world...) )
