Every male within 20 miles of Jerusalem had to go.
Jews had come from many different nations.

The Holy Spirit is comforter. He's always with us.

We need the Holy Spirit to reach our potential.
Without Him, the Church is empty, dead.

Repentence - turning from a wrong belief, turning to God. Agreeing with God. Believing in Christ's death on the Cross. Baptism

The power of the Holy Spirit was there
Without this, we become selfish.
They met daily
They increased their number daily

We need to be trustworthy in our relationships
The local Church is the hope of the world

Hannah and her husband Elkinah went up to Shiloh to worship Yahweh every year!

Building up the faith in God

Penimah took every opportunity to give Hannah sorrow,

verse 5a
Materials could not comfort Hannah's greif

verse 18b
The love of the husband was limited, and hardly provided her with comfort for her deep pain.
Under the difficult circumstances, Hannah looked to Yahweh for help and confort

LORD Almighty
'Sovereign'
'Nothing impossible'

Hannah knew that Yahweh is able to deliver her from the painful and grief circumstances to a new stage in life.

Hannah was standing at the low ebb in her life. She had to roar the deliverance of God.
How about you? What's your attitude to ask for help?

It took 9 years for Hannah's prayer to answered

Keep the promise
Hannah kept her promise. She stayed at home until the child was weaned
What is this thing that has driven Hannah to be so committed?

SALVATION!!!!

What is the similarity between this story and us????
Do you still remember our contract with God???

He is our King, Savior and redeemer
