365 Beginnings of 2017 - Remeeting v17

Amanda entered the auditorium. She hoped that her friend would be back. She hadn't seen her since a couple weeks before Christmas. She looked and saw her near the front, with a few other friends.


Amanda sat next to her friend, Nina, who was talking to another friend. “It's good to be back,” Nina said.

“I'm sure it would be,” Amanda said.

“Hi, Amanda,” Nina said. “How have you been?”

“I have been well, although I've been a little worried about you,” Amanda answered. She didn't want to face what Nina had to face.

“You're not the only one,” Nina said, with a glance with the one she had been talking to earlier.

Amanda nodded.

It was then that the countdown video finished, and the worship team went up on stage. “Welcome to Dubbo-Oxley Baptist Church. It has been rather long holiday break, hasn't it?” she paused.
“Are you ready to get into 2017? However, your break was, you can thank God that you are here now, and ready to worship and serve Him this year!” That then lead into the first song. 10000 Reasons.

10000 Reasons was then followed by This is Amazing Grace, then there was a pause. The assistant pastor came up on the stage. “Good Morning, Church,” he said. “I hope you have had a fun and fulfilling holiday break. The year is shaping up to be better than last year, but you never know what is around the corner.” He then said a prayer for the rest of the year.

The announcement video then played.
