Luke 9:23
Jesus says that anyone can follow him
There are no excuses - He has taken away the barriers
When Jews followed a Rabbi - there was a cost involved
So there is with Jesus - It costs everything
Our relationship with Him is not about duty
God is not a bureaucracy [1]
God wants to know us intimately
