Recs for new fandoms that are either slice of life (dnw soap operas), Space Opera, or LOTR style fantasy.

For space opera:

- Battlestar Galactica (2003)
- Firefly
- The Expanse
- Dark Matter (2015)

For fantasy, Legend of the Seeker is the only one that comes to mind when it comes to LOTR-style fantasy.
