Hey there! SG-1 rec that I discovered this month actually even though it's an old fic I found on livejournal. I absolutely loved the various takes and the multi-pov was perfectly executed to feel like an actual episode of the show!

"Another Life" by LullabyKnell
Here is a fixit for the destruction of Vulcan. This is the first instance I've seen that highlighted the difference between heroes and villains in time travel as such. Think about how many stories, especially fixit fanfics, you have read where someone suddenly gets thrust back in time before a disaster and immediately decides to do everything they can to avert that disaster. Nero, instead of deciding to prevent the destruction of Romulus by, say, becoming an activist or an astrophysicist -- which would have been possible at that time -- decided to seek revenge. So the first heroic act in all those other stories, before the hero takes any action at all, is simply deciding to preserve instead of destroy.
