Rewatch. The story of Okajima Taeko, a 27-year-old office worker who’s taking a break in the countryside. Whilst she is undertaking this trip, she flashes back to when she was in fifth grade. The way the various narratives were approached were interesting, and build up the characterization of Taeko in both time periods. It is very well done. 9.5/10.
