“The problem is not here either,” Daniel said.
“Certainly not,” Jess said.
“Maybe the next one,” Daniel said.
“Yes,” Jess agreed.
They then tried to move through the mass of people in the carriage. “Excuse me, Excuse me…”
Daniel and Jess entered the third carriage. There was a commotion. “What is going on here?” Jess projected.
The commotion continued.

...
“Yes,” Laranna answered.
“Then let's do it,” Andrew said.
…
“I'm trying to keep you two on track,” Glumpuddle said.
Gilbert rolled his eyes.
Chapter 55: Legacy of Marian Hood
“It is a trick with mirrors no doubt,” the young lady said.
“A trick, it is not!” Samson said.
“A good jest, ha ha!”
“As I said. It ain't a trick. This is a starship,” Samson objected.
“Whatever it is, dour Sir, I must relieve you of it.”
“It's my property, my inheritance, that's what it is!”
“Well, don't you know that all property is theft to Marian Hood?”
“You're not serious,” Samson said incredulously.
“I'm many things. Ma'am, but I'm never that. Marian Hood laughs in the face of all. Ha Ha.”
Clarence then emerged from the Galactic Ranger, wearing a suit that contrasted with Samson's drab clothes. “It may be bit much, but what do you reckon, Samson?”
“By all the saints. Are there any more in there?” Marian asked.
Chapter 56: Mysteries of Lawnton
... James asked.
“This is an opportunity I can't pass up. The partygoers will not notice. Nor will Mrs. Taylor,” Darian explained.
“Are you sure, Darian?” Charlene asked. “She ay have some security measures that a teen investigator like yourself would not be prepared for on such short notice.”
Darian considered what Charlene said. “I am sure, and I am aware that she might have such measures.”
“So you are going to have a look anyway?” James asked.
“Yes,” Darian said.
They soon entered Steph Taylor's home office. It was a well organised and efficient space. Two of the walls were occupied by bookshelves filled with books and folders. Opposite the door, in front of the window was a computer desk. The computer was a new model. Darian was certain that it had Windows 95. Indeed as he looked around, he saw the Microsoft sanctioned sticker alongside the ‘Intel Inside’ one.

Somewhere in England
A phone rang. An answering machine (the owners hadn't moved to the BT provided voicemail) answered the call coming in from the future. “I'm sorry, we're not in. Please leave a message. Thanks. Bye.”
“It's er. Hi. It's me. I've sort of gone travelling. I've met a few people and we've gone travelling together.”

“But er. I'm fine and I'll call you later. Love you. Bye,” Adam concluded.
…
“It's lava,” the older man answered.
“The temperature's going mad in there. Up three thousand degrees in ten seconds, and still risng,” the recently arrived woman said.
“Channelling the air. The closer we get to the sun, the hotter that room's going to get.”
“We're stuck here!” Martha realised.
'Oh no!' Felicia thought.
“So, we fix the engines, we steer the ship away from the sun. Simple,” the Doctor said. He pointed to a door. “Engineering down here, is it?” he asked.
“Yes,” the Captain answered.
“Impact in forty twenty six.”
The group entered the engineering room. It was a mess. The Doctor made an observation of the obvious.
The Captain, McDonell was taken back by the mess and made a blasphemous oath.
“What the hell happened?” The older man, Scannell, asked as he looked at the devastated engine.
“Oh, it's wrecked.”

As they watched the film, they discussed the differences betweem the novel and the film. Stacy chimed in with the few episodes that she had seen of The Muppet Show.
“...Oooo-oooh!”
“Steady now, steady as she goes.”
“Obviously, Brian Henson has continued his father's legacy,” Stacy said.
“Oooo-oooh!”
“Certainly,” Cindy said.
“Wicked fog tonight, sir.”
“He has developed it further,” Stacy continued.
“Oooo-oooh!”
“For instance, this movie has improved, albiet a little, on A Muppet Christmas Carol,” Quinn added.
“It reminds me of the night we ran aground off the Pampas. Half the crew drowned in leacky lifeboats, Such a terrible shame.”
