Philippians 4:13
Paul (and we) can rely on God's strength to achieve what God wants him (and us) to do.
Paul boasted that through God there is no circumstance too great for Christ's strength.
Paul didn't trust in himself - He trusted in the strength of God.

Admit that you are weak without God.

John 15:5
A contrast with Phil 4:13

We need to submit ourselves to God's will.

When we are pursuing our own agenda - we can't expect to have God's help.
We need to yeild to God.
- Give up our motivations.

Act in Faith.

Whoever sows generosity will reap generosity.

Generous to others?
You're generous to God.

Prodigal Son - Th older brother refused to share in the Father's joy and rejoicijng. He was self-centred.

It is in God's nature to Give - Especially in the Giving of His Son.

Generosity - a picture of self-giving.
Let's give generously.
Be Generous - in welcoming others.

Jesus is described as a Wonderful Counselor.
We have access to this hope.
If you feel alone, or are longing for companionship - God can provide!
Christ is our only hope.
He is the light in the darkness.
We need no longer need to fear death.
