Ivorian Rebels capture more land from the People's Republic of Guinea in the north of their claimed territory.
A pocket of Monarchists (who failed to gain Commonwealth recognition) is defeated.
The People's Republic of Somalia looses its remaining coastline. The Pro-Sultanate guerillas gain at their expense...
Asia
The 'Chaos of Tibet' continues. The People's Liberation Army reaches the far western areas of the chaotic region.
The United Kingdom's nuclear monopoly within the Commonwealth is broken when India tests a nuclear device in Rajastan on the 14th of May. This is later followed by a Pakistani test on the 19th of November.
Pacific
A massive change occurs. For some years there had been increasing tensions in the Commonwealth's largest nation by area; The Commonwealth of Australia-Pacifica (Sometimes called Aus-Pac, but most of the time called either Australia or Pacifica).
Over the decades since its founding there had been a trend by the Federal Government in Canberra to focus more and more on the Australian mainland and the islands closer to it. The tensions finally threaten to break out into voilence in some areas of the Pacific.

Overwhelmingly, the States and Territories in the northern Pacific vote to Secede. The new Dominion of Hawaii-Okinawa is established on 21 August.
Another Referendum is held in September.
Should the name of the Commonwealth of Australia-Pacifica be changed to the Commonwealth of Australia?
This referendum passes the required double majority, and the name change comes into effect by the end of the year.
These events set in motion a long period of decline for Australia that would only end in the 2000's after New Zealand secedes...
