'I am ' can help us understand another person from their perspective
Ego eimi - Greek pronunciation 'I am' or 'I and I alone'.

Can remind one of Exodus 3
We need to pay attention to the qualifier 'and I alone'.

Context - The feeding of the Five Thousand

Who are you looking for?
They were searching for Jesus with the wrong motives/
We need to seek Jesus day by day, for him to meet our every need!

What are you working for?

What are you believing in?
Jesus rebukes the crowd because they claimed that Moses gave the Israelites the Manna in the desert.

Jesus is the only bread of life.

verse 51:
He points forwards to the Cross.

Not just joining Christ but continuing to be

- Don't forget them!
- Allow them to Change you.

- Commandment: Love one another

Why be Part
To bear fruit
To glorify God
To discern the will of Christ

What does 'fruit' look like
Keeping Christ's commandments
Loving one another
Laying down life
- Martyrdom
- Or focusing on Him, on His words
- Giving up your desires
