“We’ll look around here for clues about the event,” Rebecca answered. ‘That is obvious,’ she thought.
“As far as I know, Anna was looking in North Lawndale after the devastation had taken place,” Scarlett added.
“That’s no help!” Danielle said.
“I have no idea,” Nicole said. “But maybe we could have Breakfast first, then come back.”
They agreed to find a takeout place. It was now 8:00.

Jodie led the way inside. The décor of Mansion didn’t surprise Daria much. As much an ostentatious display of wealth as much as practicality. Ceramic tiger statues were spread around the room. “Let’s find our hostess,” she said.
“Of course,” Josie said.
Brittany Taylor was busy, as she usually was when she hosted a party. She finished pouring out the chips. She then saw Daria, Jodie and Josie enter the kitchen.

A Mage Club is formed in New York City in December.
Shortly after the election, the Government establishes a Commission to investigate every site in Britain with significance in Folklore.
In July, talks begin to create a Commonwealth Paranormal Defense Agreement with Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The Royal Knights investigate a kaiju near Rockall in mid August.
In November, a sword in the Royal Collection is found to be magically indestructible. (See below regarding India’s response.)
The Commonwealth Paranormal Defense Agreement is sighed in December, with United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and all current Crown Colonies as signatories.
Africa
An Air Mage named Mbassi Kayode leads an assault on Conakry, Guinea, overthrowing Ahmed Sékou Touré. However, she dies in the aftermath, leading to Guinea collapsing into anarchy and warlordism.
South Africa is not invited to join the Commonwealth Paranormal Defense Agreement due to Apartheid.
India
India considers the magically indestructible sword to be the legendary Chandrahasa Sword, which they request to be returned.
Oceania
Prime Minister Menzies is one of the instigators of the Commonwealth Paranormal Defense Agreement.
A kaiju is discovered on an island near Tahiti by a French expedition.
