Rewatch. The United Planets Cruiser C-57D checks up on a lost expedition. Landing after being warned away the crew find themselves in over their heads with an unexpected situation. Certainly when meeting a scientist an his daughter, one should look out for such (and not fall for the daughter). The depiction of the consequences of hubris are well realized. The special effects are also quite amazing for the era. Worth rewatching. 9.5/10.
