Matthew 27: 45 - 56

A Breakfast of Champions
John 21
Verses 1 - 14
'Do you love me?'
Peter was keeping himself busy. 'Business as usual'

Jesus asked 'Do you love me' three times.
A reminder of when Peter denied Him three times.

His spiritual pride melted away. He surrendered to the Risen Saviour.
Each time Jesus reinstated Peter, He showed that he had forgiven him.

Hpw do we know that we're forgiven?
- The Cross
- The Great Commission
- We have His trust

He asks everyone 'Do you love me?'
He has given all of us an Eternal purpose.

vs 18 - 21
Jesus didn't answer when Peter asked 'What about him?' while pointing at John. Peter's thought was of a comparison.
He is saying not to compare.
It is a trap of Satan!

He doesn't want us to compare.

The question is asking whether we have grasped the forgiveness He has offered to us.
