Video Assignment Chaos - Part 5
Andrea's room was dark, with black walls and curtains.
“Question 1. What game console do you play the most?” Quinn asked.
“The PlayStation,” Andrea answered.
“Cool,” Cindy responded.
“Second Question: Favourite Games on that console?” Quinn asked.
“Final Fantasy VII.”
“A good choice,” Kristen commented.
“That One Winged Angel track, very impressive,” Andrea commented. “The storyline is also rather good.”
“Any other games?” Quinn asked.
“Quite a lot,” Andrea responded.
“Examples?” Cindy asked.
“Crash Bandicoot,” Andrea answered with a thoughtful expression.
“You can take your time,” Quinn said.
“Sure,” Andrea said.
While this was going on, Trent's Plymouth arrived somewhere on Dega Street. “What is the film about?” Trent asked.
“Part of the history of Lawndale,” Jane answered.
“Cool,” Trent said. “I may be able to help with that.”
“How?” Jane asked incredulously.
“I know a few people,” Trent said.
“I don't doubt that,” Jane murmured.
Jane and Trent saw Kevin waiting in a cafe. “Hey, Jane,” the QB said as greeting.
“Hi, Kevin. This is my brother, Trent.”
“Hi, Trent,” Kevin said. “But where's Andrea?”
“She's talking to Quinn and the others about video games,” Jane answered.
“Oh! Quinn mentioned that earlier.”
“She'll come when they're finished,” Jane said.
In fact, they were almost finished at the Hecuba's.
“And that's it,” Cindy said.
“Thanks,” Andrea said. “Now I have to get to Dega Street to start my project with Jane and Kevin.”
“Of course,” Kristen said.
“So, can we start?” Kevin asked.
“We're still waiting for Andrea!” Jane said.
“Oh! But I'm bored!”
“Then we can talk a little bit,” Jane said. She put up her hand. “But not about Quinn! I hear enough about her from Darian!”
“Oh! What about the latest game?”
“You know I don't like football!”
“Oh.”
After leaving the Hecubas, Quinn and the others headed to Cindy's. They had to review what they had recorded so far.
Andrea arrived at the cafe to find Kevin talking a very annoyed Jane's ear off. “Finally!”
“I'm sorry I took so long,” Andrea said.
“We'll, they talked to me first,” Jane said.
“Of course,” Andrea said.
“So, what are we doing?” Kevin asked.
“Something to do with this street,” Andrea answered.
“And what role it has played in Lawndale's history,” Jane added.
“History? Oh man!” Kevin exclaimed.
“You will just have to read out what we write on camera,” Jane said.
“Does it involve football?” Kevin asked.
“No,” Andrea said.
“Unless it's a coincidence,” Jane said.
“Oh man!” Kevin reacted. “I'm going to find this boring.”
Andrea and Jane looked at each other in concern. “Now I know how Darian feels,” the latter moaned.
“You mean with the mouse project?” Andrea asked, referring to a science project that had been handed out in the Fall.
Jane nodded. “And he just distracted Kevin with the Pigskin Channel...”
“What?” Andrea asked after Jane trailed off.
“I'm sure that's when he and Quinn got together,” Jane said.
“That's right,” Kevin said, with a smile. “I could talk about that.”
“No!” the other two said.
“That's fine.”
“So, where do we start?” Andrea asked.
