Who is Jesus?
The answer
- Vitally important.
- It needs to be a lot more than 'Just a man'!
He was fully qualified to die for our sins.

To be certain about where we're spending eternity, we need to be certain about who Jesus is.

Fully God and Fully Man.

Witnesses
Water - His baptism by John as a man.
Mark 1:9 - 12
All three persons of the Trinity.
The Blood
He actually experienced the death on the Cross.
The Spirit
The Truth

John is testifying to the truth.

To have the Son
- We are forgiven!

Do you have the Son?
If so, you have confidence that you are Saved and have eternal life.

Eternal life is not a prize to be earned, but an undeserved gift.
Eternal life is found in Christ.
This gift of life in Christ is a present possession to be enjoyed now.

vs 13
An encouragement. If you have faith in Jesus. You can have assurance that you are saved.

vs 14, 15
We can approach God with confidence.

We need to encourage each other in difficulty.

Unpardonable sin
Denial of the saving truth. The individual refusing to appropriate God's grace.

Idol - a substitute for God.

Who is Jesus Christ?
He is the Son of God.

Jesus is calling us to join a Church family and be disciples.

The Israelites in Egypt.

God is always at work in the world.
God is always at work around you.

New Pharoah enslaves the Israelites.
A new Phase - History forgotten. The same is happening today regarding the Christian heritage of Australia.
Vs 2:3, 4
God's leading. She knew God had a plan.

Hebrews 11:23

She was relying on God.

Acts 7:20 - 23
God's hand working in the background.
God is always at work around you.
God invites you to become involved with Him in His work.

A victory is coming.

We need to wait for patience and confidence.

Moses had excuses
God is graciously faithful to His people.
He is steadfast in His favour
He is able to use us in His favour despite our shortcomings.
It is all about Him.
Five excuses

Who am I?
Moses said that he wasn't ready.

The first fourty years of his life were spent at Pharaoh's court.

The Burning Bush.
God is self sufficient

God's ability is what we should focus on.
Not on our own insecurities.
We're nothing. He is everything.
All passages of Scripture point to the Cross.
Everyone in Scripture is there for God's glory.
Who am I?

The Israelites
Miracles provoke a reaction. They don't bring belief. That requires the presence of God.

Our ability to anything of value is dependent on God. It is through Him.

God is the I AM. Present Tense. He is the Unchanging God.
The same Today, Yesterday and Forever.
