Candace - OWCA Agent

Rollercoaster
Candace Flynn didn’t believe her eyes. Her brothers were building a rollercoaster in the back yard. She didn’t believe it! “Phineas, what is this?”

“Do you like it?” Phineas asked.

Of course, she didn’t like it. “Ooh, I'm gonna tell Mom, and when she sees what you're doing, you are going down!” She ran off.

However, as she rode away her watch beeped. She looked at it. “Oh, not now! I can’t do both at the same time.” She hit a button on the watch and another button on the bike, and rode down a ramp which had opened on the sidewalk.

Soon, she was in the lair room below her house. The large screen turned on, showing Major Monogram, the head of her division of OWCA. “Good morning, Agent M.”

Candace glared at Monogram. Sure, she had spent a night with a group of Marmosets overnight when she had run away when she was six, but that didn’t mean she was a Marmoset. She cleared her throat.

“You are Agent M,” Monogram said. They had gone through this many times before. “Doofenshmirtz is up to his old tricks. For reasons unknown to us, he bought up 80% of the country's tin foil. I want you to get over to his hideout right away. Find out what he's up to and put a stop to it.”

“On my way,” she said with a resigned tone. She knew she had to bust Doofenshmirtz before she busted her brothers. She found her hovercraft and departed.

Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated!
“Ah, Agent Flynn, what an unexpected surprise,” Heinz Doofenshmirtz said. “And by unexpected, I mean: COMPLETELY EXPECTED!”

He pressed a button and robot arms caught Candace. ‘At least he doesn’t call me ‘Candace the Marmoset!’ she thought, not for the first time.

“I, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz have covered the entire eastern seaboard in tin foil.”

“Really?” Candace asked.

“Yes. And using my Magnetism Magnifier-inator, will pull the east in a westerly direction, thereby reversing the rotation of the Earth!”

“What’s the point of that?”

“I haven’t worked out all the bugs yet. The tin foil alone costs a lot.”

Candace sighed. She looked out and saw that her brothers’ rollercoaster had spread all around the city.
Heinz knew that Candace listened, not like the previous nemesis the Agency had assigned. He knew. “What do you say?” he asked.

“There’s not much I can say,” Candace replied. It was what she usually said, more or less.

“I guess not.”

Candace looked around. There was usually something Doofenshmirtz overlooked that allowed her to thwart his usually incompetent schemes. She saw a few loose screws laying around near her feet. She smirked. That could work, in some way.

Candace took a while to figure out how to use the screws to foil Doofenshmirtz’s plan, although she was distracted by Phineas, Ferb and their friends rushing past in the rollercoaster. Shortly afterwards, she was ready. She placed her foot on one of the screws and then rolled it…

Heinz turned the Inator on…

Candace sent the screws flying.

“Hey, you missed!”

‘Really?’ Candace thought, as a screw bounced off some equipment, and then hit Doofenshmirtz’s foot.

“Ow!” he jumped around, and pressed another button on the Inator’s control panel. “Too late, Agent Flynn! Quake in your boots and watch helplessly, as the unimaginable electromagnetic forces, pull the eastern seaboard, thereby reversing the rotation of the Ea…” He stopped as he saw the tin foil come off the buildings on the monitor.

“Well… that didn’t work,” Doofenshmirtz said.

“I knew it,” Candace said.

“And we have a two-ton ball of tin foil traveling 200 miles per hour directly at us! Quickly, we must separate the magnet from the Magnifier before it's too late!”

Candace knew what would come next. ‘Time to get scarce,’ she thought. She wriggled free of the robot arms and ran over to the balcony. “Yes!” she said as she saw a helicopter nearby. She grabbed onto the Inator and fired a grappling hook towards it.

“Yes!” Doofenshmirtz cried.

Candace managed to pull the inator out of the building, but it then grabbed onto the rollercoaster. The coaster was then dragged up, as the ball of tinfoil crashed through Doofenshmirtz’s laboratory.

“Curse you, Candace Flynn!”

“Now, Mom should be at the store…”

But the copter was dragging the remains of the rollercoaster out of Danville, and she wasn’t sure where Phineas and Ferb had ended up. She needed to find them first! But where?

“Home!” she decided. She pulled a cord and let go of the grapple gun. She headed back home on her glider.

She landed in the laneway and then put her equipment aside. She rushed into the yard. The boys weren’t there. ‘But where are they?’ She took out her phone. “Mom?”

“I’m on my way home, Honey.”

“Yes!”

“What was that?”

“Phineas and Ferb aren’t in the yard!”

“Are you sure they aren’t inside?”

“I’m sure!” She could then hear the car pull in. She went into the laneway. “Mom! Mom!”

Her mother went over to the gate with a sigh. “Hi, boys!”

“But but but…”
